Yes, this will work just fine.  Kermit 3.14 for DOS does a good VT320
emulation.  The best version for VMS is C Kermit 5A.

VMS Kermit is available on the 2.0 Freeware CD (which you get if you have s/w
maintenance on VMS).  You can also download it free from a number of web sites.
You can start with the DEC site (WWW.DIGITAL.COM/INFO/VMS-FREEWARE.HTML).
